1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of mailsig (“the Service”), operated by Mateo Galic / Alpha Code (“we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Service Description

mailsig is an online email signature generator that allows users to create, customize, and export email signatures compatible with Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, and other email clients. The Service may include free and paid features, including team collaboration tools.

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must:

Be at least 13 years of age
Provide a valid email address for verification
Provide accurate and complete information when creating signatures
Be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights of others
Upload images or content that is offensive, defamatory, obscene, or harmful
Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems
Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including through automated scraping, bots, or denial-of-service attempts
Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written consent

5. Payments and Subscriptions

Paid features are billed through Stripe. By subscribing or purchasing a paid plan, you agree to:

Pay all fees and applicable taxes (including VAT where applicable)
Provide accurate and complete payment information
Authorize us (via Stripe) to charge your selected payment method

Prices may change with prior notice. Any change will not affect already-completed purchases.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

Consumers in the European Union have a 14-day right of withdrawal under EU Directive 2011/83/EU. By using paid digital content immediately upon purchase, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the digital content has been delivered. For refund requests outside this scope, please contact us; refunds are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, templates, branding, and all associated content, is owned by Mateo Galic / Alpha Code and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of the content you upload (such as photos, logos, and personal details). By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

8. Generated Signatures

You may freely use signatures generated through the Service for your personal or business communications. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information included in your signatures and for ensuring you have the right to use any logos, images, or trademarks added to them.

9. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any part of it at any time, with or without notice.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or compatible with every email client version.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mateo Galic / Alpha Code shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a manner that may cause us legal liability or disrupt others' use of the Service. You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Zagreb, Croatia, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
